About Neil
Dr. Neil Franks is the President and Treasurer of the Missouri Baptist Foundation. Dr. Franks has pastored churches of all sizes; most recently spending the last decade leading First Baptist Church in Branson, Missouri. The church more than doubled their budget and almost tripled in attendance under his leadership.
Dr. Franks served as President of the Missouri Baptist Convention in 2014 and 2015, and Vice President of the SBC Pastors' Conference in 2016. He has also served on the Board of Trustees for Southwest Baptist University.
A native of Malvern, Arkansas, Dr. Franks earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communications from Henderson State University, Arkadelphia, Arkansas. He holds a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Ft. Worth, Texas and a Doctor of Ministry from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Kansas City, Missouri.
Dr. Franks is married to Kendra. They have two sons, Nathan and Travis.
